Ive sold mine and now have a Nexus 4.

It was resting on a table while that happen. Very frustrated !!! Sending it back to the carrier (and HTC) for investigation.

I can’t understand why the company of HTC keeps the lips close about this VERY IMPORTANT FLAW!!!It has changed the device to a junk. Its screen goes crazy and nobody can solve it in this world, maybe the HTC company is waiting for a miracle or because of high interest keeps silence not to accept the problem its own !!!

Unfortunately, there isnt much you can do if you’re unable to send it back in and get a new one. HTC has admitted the problem and will replace any device suffering from it, but I guess in your case that might be complicated. 

You could buy a case to cover up the spots I suppose.

I purchased it from ebay though bnib so not sure if there is any soulution for me. Did anyone found any more info on this? every day it drives me nuts as more spots seem to appear no matter how well kept it is. i’m really upset about it and i hope someone can point me in the right direction.thanks guys
